when i try to get into recovery mode it shows me an android with a red triangle on top? how can i fix it and get to recovery ?

As the others have mentioned, you have the stock recovery.

I would suggest using wugs to reinstall the recovery, but it can also be done easily using fastboot

Just be aware that if you are running the stock rom, it will auto flash the stock recovery every time the device boots up. If you flash a custom rom, this process will stop and your custom recovery will stick

Your statement does not reflect my experience. I am stock, rooted, cwm recovery, GB4.2 and I do not 'auto flash the stock recovery every time the device boots up.' I can start Rom Manager and boot into cwm recovery whenever I choose, whether after restarting or not. I have never had it reflash stock recovery.

Maybe ROM manager added a script to remove the file that causes this issue to happen in all nexus devices. That is certainly a good thing I'd say.
