Root Help?!

Hey peoples, I am currently running Shinjitsu Update 3 & 4 :) Of course after a few reboots I lost root & had to root w/ pc.. I kno someone else had this problem and I did factory reset, clear cache, dalvik, etc before installing. I think there is an underlying problem with this rom & loosing root. I dunno Lol

Anyways, I love seeing CM10 coming along nicely! Can't wait for a stable release, haven't installed beta cause it looks like there are quite a bit of bugs to be worked out still & I need my sequent working 100percent.

Ok, my question is I'm trying to get video calling to work correctly & with shinjitsu rom I am upside down on both Skype & Tango!! I can't remember if it was this way with stock or not BUT I remember using the cyanoid rom briefly w/ tango and I came up fine (right side up) Anyone else having this problem? Is there a fix?

I don't know why Dizzle would pull the link to the rom? Does anyone have the zip or a backup of Cyanoid? Because that was the rom I had less problems with! I just tried installing the stock rooted rom zip from chris but it aborted right away btw I have cwm touch... for now I am gonna reinstall shinjitsu UNLESS someone has the zip for the original cyanoid? Any help is appreciated :)
 
I totally skipped your question.
As far as I know, even stock rom flips people in Skype and video chat. I'm not sure if it was resolved though.
 
Soooo pissed at myself right now! ugh :( I was about to install CM10 & gapps for the heck of it & on accident hit the partition sd card buton. Couldn't stop it so I pulled battery out of desperation. Now ALL my stuff is gone! Backups, etc dang, now I gotta download again & install each app one at a time. I think I found a downside to CWM Touch Hahahaha bummer.

Anywhos, yeah I tried google talk but couldn't figure it out lol Plus I'm trying to video chat w/ grandparents & they couldn't get google talk on pc so idk As far as I can remember Cyanoid had the correct orientation on video chat! I don't know how but Is the link or download of cyanoid available anywhere or do I have to wait till theres an update to the rom? I think I'll redownload Cm10 beta & see how it is. If that don't work out I'll wait till a stable release or revert back to Shinjitsu so mad that I lost everything on my sd! note to self: be aware when using cwm touch!
 
OMG, thanks for the link bro! Downloading now ;) I ended up installing CM10 & Gapps, and WOW it is very promising!!!! I love JB soooo much sweet stuff about it I couldn't possibly type it all here hahaha I actually downloaded an update from the goo app & it said it was from 1/29/13! But, wifi did not work :( but, it worked on 1/27/13 newest one I got from the thread Lol I think the "update" was actually a whole rom? But, either way it was a bad ass experience while it lasted Lol

Why do you have to take the link down? Just curious :P doesn't matter though cause I am not deleting it from my SD ;) I think this cyanoid rom the video chat worked w/ tango like no upside down crap anymore. I could be wrong...
 
No problem bro, true, cm-10 is just AWESOME!!!

I use my dropbox alot and is almost full, that is why, need the space for other stuff.
 
Oh, ok that's completely understandable! Lol got it downloaded & installed! Thanks again! For real though idk what is different about this rom, but I'm right side up using video chat on both skype & tango! On my end and theirs! With stock I believe and definitely Shinjitsu it was upside down hmmm Anyways looks like there is a sweet update on stock with root and the alike! time to change roms again Hahaha heard its a lot smoother! We'll see about chat though lol Glad its rootable! Ram was fixed etc Does this mean CM10's kernel has to be done again or switched to the new update version? Sucks.. Oh well ;)
