I have a Droid 3 and it is running the following:
Version: 2.3.4
Baseband: N_03.18.32P
Kernal:2.6.35.7-g5fa4155
I went from Verizon and flashed to Cricket. I am deployed and want to use the phone here in Kandahar. I can connect to wi-fi but it says the sim is locked. I have read quite a bit and some say you can get unlock codes others say its hopeless. Any help or direction would be helpful. I also reset it to factory default which I am guessing erased the flash. It doesnt have the same phone number listed anymore. Thanks for any help.

I have used unlock codes from unlock4moto.com twice and it worked fine both times, first try. You get a code within 30 minutes. I can't speak for the rest of your question, though - I'm on Verizon.

i have also unlocked 2 d3s, with no problems, but on stock verizon
i would think codes will still work, but not positive.
