Root HELP!!!

i flashes the kit kat explosion rom and everything was fine till reboot. flashed samsung and the triangle the went grey for 5 minutes flashed samsung again and repeats.... please tell me i didnt just brick the only phone i have!

They mean it's bootlooping at the splash screen.

Have you tried doing a factory reset from cwm?

Did you make a backup?
 
i made a backup but something went wrong when i moved it to my sd from internal storage and it won't work. now it will only boot into cwm. haven't tried factory reset. here i go
 
yea that didn't do anything. i re-downloaded the ROM i was using. explosion 1.5 and it won't work either. now only boots to cwm. the ROM says it installs then tells me to reboot. same thing happens
 
Are you doing the standard wipes (including system) before your attempting to reflash?

Tried downloading a different rom and throwing that on your card?
 
i tried kit kat explosion and it didn't work so i tried to re-flash explosion 1.5 and it started booting into cwm..by standard do you mean in advanced and clear them individually? sorry i'm such a noob
 
so i wiped everything, installed the stock rom to the root of my sd and flashed it as im supposed to. it said reboot and enjoy. i rebooted and it now it won't even go into cwm. samsung came up then it's gone and now it's just the backlight...i'm so confused
 
yea. i rooted a couple months ago and at first used the explosion rom v1 then got 1.5 then tried to get kit kat explosion and all this started. now it's just stuck on the low back light..i don't know what i did.
 
FIXED!!!! I was able to use Odin to get it back to stock. I didn't think about it last night...alcohol and android not a good mix..oopps. Now that I'm back to stock think it would be safe to go back in and root again to try kit kat explosion again?

Just make sure you have a good working backup :p:D

are you using twrp or cwm?

Both have the option to backup to the external sd card. In cwm, you simply choose backup to external in the backup options. In twrp, in the backup menu, tap the top where it says internal storage and switch it to external. :)
 
i'm using cwm. i got it rooted again. verified root access. tried flashing kit kat again and went boot looped twice then booted into cwm again...tried the method slayer said in the other thread and it went back to cwm. could there be something wrong with the download or something i did to it when i downloaded it?
