bambam38

Lurker
When I open My Files it shows "no files" on both internal and external storage. I have a 32 gig SD card and it shoes it as zero. Why?

Try a factory reset bambam38. That will bring the phone back to the way it was when it was brand new and get rid of any junk stuff that may have accumulated and is causing your problem. Any data or apps you have installed so far will be deleted. On the S4 you have two methods to factory reset.

USING SOFTWARE:
Go to Menu > Settings > Accounts > Backup and reset > Factory data reset > Tap Reset Device.

USING HARDWARE:
You shouldn't have to do it this way as your S4 obviously can get past the lock screen but it's good info to have.
Turn off your Galaxy S4 phone using Power button. Turn on the phone by pressing Volume Up + Home + Power buttons at the same time. You will see Samsung Logo on the screen. Release Power button and keep holding other keys. Release all keys when you see screen with options. Using Volume keys, Move up or down and Highlight Wipe data/factory reset option and press Power key to select it to reset android phone. Your phone will reboot after reset.

thanks go out to ekoob.com for the reset info.
