Help Here are the correct APN's for your Nexus 4

For the record, not every setup is going to work exactly perfect. You might have targeted this thread at me but with your "correct" way of setting up the APN, I cannot receive any MMS larger than 80kb. I needed to include the separate APN in order to receive the larger files.

And then?

while i have no intention of arguing with you, that's not how APN works. settings do not vary per phone.

Exactly why I have needed two apns for my past 3 phones on straight talk, didn't vary by phone. Also odd that the majority of search results for "android straight talk apn" suggest having two apns like I have been using.

No point in fighting, if that way works for him and your way for you than great. No way is wrong, since they both work, right? To each is own I suppose.

I have never needed to APNs on Straight Talk. I didn't think that was even possible without manually switching between the two. The APN shouldn't affect mms. Here are the lines that do MMSC http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS PROXY 66.209.11.33
MMS PORT 80

Guess I may have learned something new

Let me refrain from my first statement The APN is for everything but within thre APN those are the lines that are for MMS as regular text are transmitted over cellular
