Here I am. Posting like a hurricane

Hi guys, I like every one else posting in this section am new to the forum. The only smart phones I have ever had are androids. Apple can kiss my ass ^-^
I came here first and foremost for the community. And secondly to learn to root. Ive kept my old phones to practice on before attempting to maximize my galaxy experience. I would like to start rooting any of my old Zte phones. So please feel free to send me links and info.

I never had a ZTE, so I can't point you to a specific program, but if you google root zte, you'll get tons of links to ways to root different models. Or read ADB manually root almost any Android device (The main difference from one phone to another using that method is the app you use to gain temporary root.)

As far as a Galaxy, it depends. Some AT&T and Verizon Samsungs, running Android 4.4x (4.42 or higher), are locked, welded shut, kept in a vault (so to speak) ... there's a prize of, I believe, at least a few thousand dollars at the moment for anyone who can come up with a way to do it.

For older versions of Android, or other carriers, one version or another (1.1.2, 1.1.5, 1.1.6 or 1.1.8, depending on the phone and version of Android) of Kingo should do it. (If you run the wrong version, it'll just tell you that it can't root your phone, it won't even try. Then just try the next version.) That's what everyone's been using for a while. (It installs a Chinese app of some sort. Just run Application manager, look for the app with the Chinese character name and uninstall it.)

And welcome to the forum.
