Help Here's a TUFF ONE!!

Hi there, APOKOLIPS, and welcome to Android Forums. :)

The GT-T9500 is a clone of the Galaxy S4, correct? Let's see if any S4 owners can help you out. Moving to Galaxy S4 board.

I got a gt-t9500 and I need to do a hard recovery for it, because my 2 year old got to it, anyone knows how to do this?

If that is a Galaxy S4, from power off you can hold volume up+power+home button together to boot the phone into recovery. From recovery you can use the volume up or down to highlight Factory Data Reset and the power button to select it. This will erase EVERYTHING in the device memory and return the phone to original out of the box condition.

If you have an SD card it should not be affected, but EVERYTHING in the device will be ERASED.

Proceed with caution and good luck.

I've should have been more clear, it's a Galaxy S4 clone I got while I was in Shenzhen, China. Your all going to laugh at me, but I thought my 2 yr. old son broke it because Google play store wasn't working any more. I wasn't aware I could download apps from other Android sites, DUH:o. I installed appbrain and getjar for my app downloading needs, and everything is now o.k., talk about feeling foolish:o. I would like to upgrade my Android OS from 4.2 to something higher, any suggestions?

No! There's no need to feel foolish. :)

Glad it got sorted out.
