Root heres my situation...

i was following the "guide to rooting no mater whats your status" and got stuck because of a bad link, then found a new link later on in the thread and that still didnt work (staus 7 error) anyways i have a rooted 2.1 with now unrevoked-forever, S-off.....what should i do from here, just stay with 2.1 and just mess with roms, or try and find another thread for updating to 2.2 with a rooted 2.1?

if your rooted and s-off. just upgrade hboot. radio, and pick a rom. I personally suggest skyraider, or stock deodexed, or the stock leak by rmk. all good stuff. but if ur s-off u can do whatever..

When you pick a rom it will be a froyo (2.2) rom, so you will be going there.

The Desire ports are nice, so is Feather Rom. MIUI is always fun to check out too.
