Hero and Metro pcs

If i have my Hero flashed from Ntelos to Metro Pcs since i wont be in Ntelos area anymore will i lose my ROM im on the 2.3.4 GB deck 5 23-2011 rom. I was told i will only have talk and txt. Will i still be able to have wifi working. Also i have google voice with sipgate thru wifi which i wont need anymore unless i dont have a signal. I just want to make sure i wont lose this rom or radio. Experts please

You will not loose your Rom, and yes WiFi will still work, and the radio does not get changed unless you flash a new radio
