Hero vs wildfire

[natnat]

Hi guys,I have had my Hero a few months now and love it but I have got the opertunity to change it for a new Wildfire.I know the Wildfire is not the best Android but I love the look of it and from what I can work out apart from the screen on the Wildfire not being quite as good as the Hero everything else is as good or better.Does anyone have any experience with the Wildfire or have any input?Thank you

stick with your hero my sister picked up a wildfire the other day. dont get me wrong the wildfire is a great budget andorid phone but the screen compared to the hero is pants and thats a big put off for me

Never used one, but I think most of the internals are the same (except the wildfire has a bit more RAM IIRC).

BUT: the wildfire only has half the screen resolution of the hero (and the hero isnt exactly well endowed in that department to start with). Expect to find quite a few apps that are unusable on the wildfire as a result.

It's been a while since I've read the specs of the wildfire, but yeah it seemed like much the same phone. I don't think it's worth giving up the screen resolution.

Thanks guys, comments taken on board and I think I will give the Wildfire a miss and wait for something better.
