I am considering rooting today. I would like to see what it's all about and to try out gingerbread. I think I have settled on Android Revolution 4.0. My main question is, how badly can I mess this up? If I mess up how do I save myself? and if I root and decide it wasn't worth it, can I reset or go back to what I currently have now? Also, if anyone can post screenshots of the revolution or another gingerbread ROM so I know what it will look like, that would be great. Thanks!
