hey one n all. Am a newbie to the Android LG Optimus and this forum which looks wonderful !
Trying to figure things out with new device.
Thank god for one of the members advice I saw about taking the home screen n it's locking off of sleep in wifi settings. I was missing tons of phone calls and Skype messages n did not know why. It was locking everything.
Now, just gotta figure how to make the Skype ringtone louder. Android shares mobile modem and so when Skype rings on laptop, it also rings on Android, but real soft.
I also wish there was a cursor that would remain so I can go correct misspellings in my messages. Tapping the lil i within blue icon and going to SYM does not always work. Wish there were some way to fix my typos without losing messages.
So far, everything else about this LG Optimus is awesome and I am very pleased. Speaker is a bit crackily on Skype calls.
