Root Hey Everyone I Have A Root Question I couldnt Find.

I just got my Optimus today (first android phone I am owning) and I'm wanting to root it. but Only problem is it came pre stocked with android 2.2.1

And from what I can tell from the other threads you can only downgrade if you yourself have upgraded from 2.2?

So is it still possible to downgrade to 2.2 even if Optimus came with 2.2.1 stock?

Sorry for making a new thread and it being my first post, thanks in advance.

You don't need to downgrade. Your stock 2.2.1 can now be rooted. Head to the sub forum All Things Root here in the M forums and you will find the thread you need.
