Decided to look for the best Android forums, and came across this one in most suggestions...so I joined. I mainly joined because I am interested in trying an Android phone for my first time under a contract. I currently have an iPhone 4S, an iPhone4 before that, iPhone 3G before that, HTC MDA before that, and a BlackBerry 7xxx. That's it for my good phones list.
Anyways, I'm with AT&T, and have been with them since my first iPhone, primarily because my service was actually really good. That was until I bought my new house. Now my service is HORRIBBLLLLEEEE!! I haven't been too interested in the current phones available, until I played around with the Galaxy Note. That was the first Android phone that really got me interested. I'm looking to jump ship out of this contract, and try the Galaxy Note with Sprint(I get good service here). I really want that phone, but I wouldn't mind waiting for the Note 2...if the rumors of its release date are true.
I'm not a real heavy smart-phone user, and mostly use it for emails, maps, location services, and music. I have a rather large library of apps that I have accumulated since my first iphone, and that will honestly play a large role in switching.
I enjoy being a member of a forum, and stick around for a while
