Help hey guys, my first ever post and its a question

im new to android, just got my shiny new htc desire hd and been doing a bit of reading. i see there is a 2.2.1 update for it, but have checked for updates and it keeps telling me theres no updates available???

any advice folks??

Go to the desire hd section to make sure their is a update.If their is an update be patient,sometimes they are not rolled out all an once.

You waited a whole 17 minutes for someone to respond. It takes time bud! Now, to your question... Are you sure that it isn't referring to firmware or something like that?

Found this. Is your device unlocked? If not, looks like you need to wait for a carrier release.
