Hey, just got a Droid 2 + question

Hello Android Forums,

My name is Bill, and I just got a Droid 2 a few days ago.
I LOVE this device, it's incredible what it can do.
I stumbled across this forum yesterday, and decided to register.
There is tons of info and cool stuff here, I need a hoodie and sticker ASAP!

I'm looking forward to learning a lot, and doing some awesome stuff with my new phone.


Oh, I have a question that I can't seem to find the answer for:
How do I set a custom notification ringtone?
I downloaded this Transformers tone and I can't seem to figure out how to set it as a notification tone, specifically for text messages.

Assuming that the Droid 2 functions similarly to the Droid X, you simply need to download the file to a directory on your SD card. Then open the SMS app, click on the options button. Then select settings. Go to the ringtone setting and set it to your newly downloaded ringtone.
