Just got the Motorola Triumph, and boy is froyo a pain in the a**! anybody have a solution or rom i could put on this badboy? I just want the best rom/fastest/smoothest. thanks
 
No matter what ROM you use, you're going to have issues with both HDMI and camera. Motorola, or the other company (FCI?) who owns the source code for the drivers to these components never released it, so it's been difficult for developers to come up with their own. No documentation, nothing to go off of. CM7 has a working camera but from what I understand it's partial.

Not entirely true...MTDEV CM9 is my daily...but no HDMI or camera...but for near perfect roms the sharp and U9000-81 have everything working...tethering works with use of an executable file that bsydz put in there somewhere...they are both froyo but function worlds better than stock...great GPS...U9000 looks exactly like stock but sharp has a very modified user interface that makes it look different than any other froyo...good luck!
 
I'm currently running G60 CM7, for free Wi-Fi and tethering and working camera too.
You could also try CM9, if you don't need working camera or flash.

I appreciate devs for making CM9 beta.
