Hi all new need help

Hi I just got my new note 2. Love it but need some help with quiet sound of ring tone and headphones. Have found all the volume controls and turned them up full. But very quiet still, and ringtone in headphone can hardly hear at all. Any help will be really good

Ta Matt.

Make sure the volume in your headset is turned up. Then while listening to something through the headset turn up the volume on the side of the phone. Should say bluetooth volume. The bluetooth volume is not available in the regular volume controls in settings.

Hi. Just tried that, didn't get Bluetooth volume. Is there any other away of doing it. Thanks Matt

Settings - Sound - Volume (did you check there?)

No just corded headphones, can't hear the ringtone

That's a flaw with samsung phones. When you listen to music or video through a corded headset, the message and ringtones don't sound through the headphones - the notification sounds are still heard through the phone.

The only fix is to use a bluetooth headset. It will work then.

Which I hate. Can't stress enough how much I hate it. Is there an app for that?

ren857 is right. Strange though, on HTC forums people complain that the phones do not ring when earphones are plugged in (just through the earphones) because if they stop listening and forget to unplug, they miss calls. It needs to be an option!

When you adjust volume via the side rocker-button you should see a "gear" to the right of the volume slider. Touch the gear. Then you will see the individual settings for each TYPE of volume - Ringtone, Media, Notifications, System. You can set each separately from there.

Going thru settings or the gear give the same slider. Going directly to sound thru settings offers more options.
