Hi everyone. Just found this site, and am trying to take it all in! I'm eligible to upgrade my Verizon phone in a couple of weeks, and have pretty much made up my mind to go with the HTC Eris. I have lurked at the local Verizon store messing around with it, and must say I like it a lot. I have a couple of concerns though, and came here looking to see what other had to say about them. The first is the absence of Android 2.0, although I'm told VZW will update the OS after the first of the year. Second concern is the apparently dismal battery life. I'll be looking forward to reading what you all have to say about these issues, and will definitely need help once I get the phone, as this will be my first smartphone purchase! Hi, I have had my Verizon Droid for about three weeks and I love it. Yes the battery is not enough, but if you watch you apps and keep the screen off, it almost lasts a full day. I can't wait till the flash download is available
