Hi all, I'm Shaq from London. I had heard about Android a while ago (I'm an avid reader of Gizmodo, engadget, et al) but had never paid it much attention.
My old phone was in serious need of an upgrade - it had a memory capacity to store about 5 text messages, and had a three line monochrome LCD screen - more of a duncephone than a smartphone!
I finally took the plunge with the HTC Hero after a friend showed me the incredible 'Layar' application, and I'm loving it!
Already learnt loads from browsing on here the last couple of days, and finally decided to stop lurking!
