Hi all,
Just got my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 LTE and am pretty well pleased with it. Nice big display and am impressed with the camera.
For my work, I'll be taking a lot of pics with the camera and as such I have a question:
When I hook the phone up to my laptop (running windows 8) I can open the photos folder but instead of getting preview thumbnails of the photos I have taken I get the generic j-peg tile. Despite changing all the settings I know of on the laptop, I've been unable to get preview thumbnails when opening the folder on the laptop.
The laptop settings are fine as I've tested it with my old HTC phone and when I cut and paste the photos from the phone into a folder on the laptop, I can preview the photo thumbnails as normal. This is very useful as I have to name each individual photo.
It's not a major issue as I have to transfer photos off the phone anyway but I was wondering if someone could tell me if there is a setting on the phone that I need to change. I've had a good play around with it and tried searching on google for the answer but there is nothing specific. Am I being a fuddy duddy or am I stuck with having to transfer photos to the laptop prior to previewing and re-naming them?
Hoping someone can help me out!
Thanks!
Tim
