I just got the HTC Inspire because I had dropped my iphone in the toilet! I went to get another iphone and the salesman talked me into getting the Inspire. I've had it for 3 days now and I am still trying to figure it out! I am getting very discouraged and I'm starting to want to take it back and get the iphone again! I need help with lots of things, hope this forum will help me and change my mind about going back to the iphone!

You need to post exactly what you need help with so that the knowledgeable folks here can assist. I just got it my self and use it as well as the Iphone4. The inspire is an awesome device. Each phone has its pros and cons and no single phone will solve all problems.

Of course, that's what we're here for. What's you first question? :)

First of all, Im not able to connect it to my pc. It's not recognizing!
This is also a large forum and I'm trying to search and find out things on my own if I can. I am a member of another forum that is set up like this one, just trying to figure out where everything is! Thanks!

When you connect it what does it say? Not recognized? And are you trying to connect it to htc sync or just as a disk drive?

If you downloaded htc sync and open that then connect the phone and it doesn't recognize it the phone is probably in the wrong connection mode.
First from the home screen tap menu-settings-applications-development-make sure debugging is checked. Then plug into the computer does a white screen with a list pop up? For sync tap the dot next to htc sync option.

To use the phone as a disk drive same steps as above (usually once you check usb debugging it will remain checked) but when connected to a pc choose disk drive.
If the white screen with options does not show up, from your home screen place your finger on the notification bar and pull down it will list what connection mode you are in there, if it says something other than what you are trying to do like disk drive but you want to use htc sync then tap it and the list should show up.

You might need the drivers for your phone - they are included with HTC Sync. You can uninstall Sync if you want, the drivers will remain.

As a former iPhone user, I can tell you that there is a learning curve when switching to Android. Give it a chance, I know I'm glad I did.

Don't be afraid to ask questions, especially here. The Android forums are much nicer to new/inexperienced users than most of the Apple forums I used to frequent.

I have connected my phone to 4 different computers and I did not need the drivers on any of them. The white screen popped up and I selected the mode I wanted.
