I just ordered an Atrix 4G in India...

The question - It wasn't launched in India officially. But a popular newspaper had an offer and I jumped the gun. But now the question is, how will I get the Gingerbread update?

I confirmed with them it will be Froyo...So is there a way to get the stock OS, 2.3.anything???

Most likely direct from the Motorola site, as I have just purchased & Sim free Unlocked 4G for use in the UK, & upgraded to G'bred via official site.

At this point in time none of the uk providers have this phone available.
