I am new to this forum, glad to meet you all.
I need some assistance. I am an Android User, but my own android phone I got from my mobile service provider, so everything works fine for me - I am in in Australia.
I recently bought my son his first mobile phone over the internet, and as it turns out the phone was imported from China. It is a Motorola Defy XT535. It has very limited applications, and it also has only two language options, English and Chinese. The input method is Chinese, and even if you change it all to English, Chinese seem to pop up all over the phone.
My question is this: Is there a way to clean the phone and install a base image that can be customised to be English and if possible, Australian? I will need step by step instructions ...
