Hi from an Android virgin

Hi all, I'm looking to get into the world of Android when my contract renewal comes (13th Sept) so I'm scouring the forums for some info on what to go for. Currently have a HTC Touch HD running Windows Mobile 6.5 but WinMo seems to be dying a miserable death support wise.

Any suggestions on what to go for would be great (currently torn between HTC Desire or Samsung Galaxy S).

Welcome to the Android Forums! It's really about personal preferences. Do some research,but any o.e you choose, you can't go wrong with an Android.
 
Thanks for the welcome messages, I've been a long term user of xda forums with me having 2 previous Windows Mobile phones but its a dying breed now. Been having a good scan round the forums and really like the Samsung Galaxy S as the HTC Desire is hard to get in the UK at the mo. Well, better wait and see what upgrade offers Orange have for me but I'm definitely getting a Droid phone
