I've had my new Galaxy S for three weeks and for the first time in my life, I actually love a gadget.
I still go to sleep every night staring at it in automated alarm clock mode and grin like a little child, waiting for the clock screensaver to start.
I'm not a programmer type but I like my gadgets to work the way I want them to and Sammy (I know, not original) does what I want, the way I want it.
I had a few issues getting into the right mindset to use the handset fully and my googling usually ended up at posts on this forum so I thought I'd join and once I've worked out all my own remaining issues, hopefully I can help others.
It occcurred to me while slogging my way through the snow today that it's missing one function to go with compass, spirit level, and other measuring toods: a thermometer ;-) (surely there's some kind of sensor inside to stop phones over-heating that could be used...?)
