I recently got me an HTC Desire.. and I must say I love this phone. 
It's not without its quirks (such as the mobile 3G network not starting if wifi connection was canceled, and the long time it takes for the 3G connection to boot up after I have woken the phone.)
But other than that I love this phone. Much better than my Nokia N73, which I'll keep as my business phone. This Android is my play phone
