Hey everyone,
I'm a software dev from Seattle, WA. Just recently dropped my job at Microsoft to pursue development on my own. About 3 weeks ago, I started my company "Averscer", and just recently published my first app to the Android market entitled "Time Cube 3D."
I bought an Toshiba Thrive last August and have been in love with Android ever since. Even though I'm a software dev... I resisted the $70 a month charge for a smart phone for a while! but soon after bought an HTC Evo V. I now have ICS on both, and 3.2 Honeycomb on another thrive.
I love how interactive smart phones have made the world. Some people think it pulls people apart, I think it brings people closer together.
One of the things I LOVE about game development is the direct pursuit of giving the player enjoyment. I'm new at the game though... not use to all these scripts and graphics and stuff, I'm used to databases and web services! haha.
I'm looking forward to becoming a closer part of the android community. This looks like it's the place to be!
Thanks,
David
