Help Hi guys, new here. Quick question.

I just got an inspire (one if my favorite phones that hadn't been ran over with social networking like its younger gen phones, the reason I like it) after my iPhone kicked the bucket, and I'm not sure if I have a 3G/4G, because I want to update my phone but its on 2.3 and every time I try to use the software update it gives me "server error". Could it be where I live in a rural area? Any help is thanked in return fellas.

Welcome, what's the HTC Sense version? The Inspire 4G never made it passed 2.3 so there might not be an update, sorry.

Can you check over WiFi?

Officially you can not update HTC inspire past 2.3.5 ginger bread. Custom rom only
