Root hi guys new here

hi guys im new to the htc family i switch over from metro pcs ummmmmm can someone help me with a basic root and then how to boot in recovery im look forward to learning about this phone ive had it a hour n i love it

Hello there!

To root, you are going to want to use the RegawMod automated script to do HTC dev

Once you get it all done, if you power down and hold power+volume down that will get you to H-boot where you can select the recovery. (make sure fastboot is off in power settings)

If you have issues with that, you can download an app from the market like quickboot and it will give you the option to boot directly into recovery.

These things can be finnicky. Usually if you get errors, rerunning the program will work.
