Well, after lurking for about 6 months, I've finally decided to sign up. I've had an OG Droid since around the time it was released. Never rooted it or anything fancy, just your basic home replacement (LP) and whatnot. I finally upgraded today and picked up a Droid X2. Drove home and rooted it as soon as I walked in the door (I hadn't even sent a text yet) so I could freeze the bloat. For the most part, I'm loving it. I've spent ALL day trying to get it dialed in just perfect. Getting close.
I'm running LP again, because it's got some features I really love, but I'm getting redraws fairly often (my OG was doing it almost constantly!), which is super annoying. I'm hoping I can get the issue sorted out without having to go to Blur/another launcher. I'm also having the oh-so-common music hiccuping issue, but, with all the time I've spent tweaking the phone, I don't wanna return it in the hopes of getting a unit that doesn't do it.
