Hey everyone, always polite to do an intro after joining a new forum so here we go.

Went through years of using Nokia phones. First when they were awesome (the legendary 3210) and then out of habit. I lost touch with which phones were the best so I stuck it out, even had an N-Gage at one point ;)

Had the Nokia X6 and N8 which I didn't mind at the time but looking back were ridiculously clumsy and awkward.

Dicovered Android phones last year. My contract was up for renewal and I decided to do my research for once. Checked out Tech Radar's list of 20 best phones in the world and at the time it was the Galaxy S2, checked around some other sites and they seemed to agree. Got it, loved it.

While I wouldn't say I'm an advanced user, I do love messing around with phones and getting the most out of them. The S2 was the first phone to 99% nail what I really wanted from a phone in terms of customisation and ability, The numbers of apps won me over too.

Very recently traded up to an S4 and the last few niggling issues I had with Android have been ironed out. Still finding out things about the phone but I love it.

Anyway to wrap up this life story; I've googled Android queries many times, especially for looking into rooting. A lot of my advice came up from these forums and rooting my new S4 I realised how weird it was that I haven't joined a forum yet. It'd be good to pick up new tricks and techniques as you guys find them out, and pass on my knowledge to guys (and girls) new to the world of Android.

So that's me guys. Can't wait to bother you all with questions about the 4.4 update :D

Experimented with a few ROMs, cyanogenmod etc but found I prefer the Samsung Stock ones, weird as it sounds. Still like to root and keep the firmware up to date though, especially with the new Multi-window features ;)

Haha they can take their time with 5.0, still working my way through all the new ones on the S4 ;)

Not looked into which features they've got planned for the next update, customising the notification bar was about the last issue I had but Samsung sorted it on this phone. Maybe put Flash back, no idea why they took it out, it was a decent edge for them over iOS

I think some Roms have flash support. Also didn't Android have a falling out with Adobe?

Can't remember where I heard that from now.
