Hi, new here.

[kimberlyinmn]

I'm an Android pre-newbie. I've got an LG Optimus V on order. This will be my first smart phone. I have owned pretty much all of the Palm PDAs plus a couple of iPod Touches (including the latest), so at least the concept isn't new.

Welcome to Android Forums!

On of the most common frustration for new Android owners is when they expect an Android device to behave like an iDevice or Palm (or any other mobile OS). Browse around and get to know what people are saying about your device in the LG Optimus V Forum.

Welcome to AndroidForums, Kimberly!

You've joined the Android world at a very exciting time and hopefully you have as much fun learning about your first smartphone as I have.

Cheers!
