Hi.....with a lil' problem.

Hello all! New here, from Ireland.

Just got myself a Samsung Galaxy Europa (GT-I5500) yesterday as my intro to the Android world. I was absolutely lovin' it.....until, after downloading some "Live Wallpapers", it froze! :(

Now, when the phone is on all I can see is the "Slide To Unlock" screen, when I unlock it, it just gives me a blank, black screen, with the info bar at the top (battery/wi-fi bar).

I can't access any of the menu's, and I'm fairly worried! :confused:

I've tried the volume & power button trick, but it's not giving me a reboot option or anything. Is there any way of resetting the phone to default externally? (a reset button/through a PC/etc?).

Any help greatly appreciated!
 
Hi & Welcome to the Android Forums - Try a Soft Reset "Battery Pull" first if that does mot work go to the Support & Troubleshooting area for your phone,Cheers....:)

@Leftyguy..........Tried that & tried the troubleshooting area of manual, not working unfortunately.
