new to this site - got the new samsung galaxy s and on the whole its a brilliant phone - few niggles though.......it does not appear to have the standard profile settings (normal, night, meeting, etc). Anyone got any ideas?
 
Hi and welcome to Android Forums!

I don't own the galaxy but for most Android phones, there are not profiles like you would find in Windows Mobile phones. If there are advanced profile settings you need, I'm sure there is an app that will work on your phone and offer the type of profile settings you are used to. I just normally use the volume rocker to switch to silent and vibrate.
