I'm an android noob, ex-BB. Also have an iPod Touch, and an Xbox 360. I was about to get rid of the iPod till I realized that the framerate, while watching movies on the myTouch 4G was annoyingly slow. Anyone know a way to improve this?
 
No frame rate issues here. Also no ingress/digital tiling. Sorry, I know that doesn't help you, just sharing my experience. There might be an issue with your sd card. What class card are you using? the older phones shipped with class 2, but the newer ones ship with class 4. Class 2 being the low end and class 4 being a solid middle ground. Really should go with class 6 thats what I use.

I personally think this is one of the best phones on the market and by far the best for tmobile (including the no 4G, no sd card havin' Nexus S(hit)). But, I digress.
