Hello to everyone. I am pretty good with working my around anroid devices i have phone a.d.d. and have had just about every android there is on all carriers besides verizon and currently am using a stock photon. I think its a keeper. I am wondering if its possible to root without having internet at home. My idea is can i download the needed files to my device then copy them to my desktop pc and follow the instructions to root? I know this is 2011can and should have internet but i have an outstanding balance and other bills are more important at this time. Anyone that knows if this would work please share your thoughts.

I would suggest checking into the root section for your particular phone. The users in there will know just what you can and can not do.
