Hi everybody!
I'm having a problem with my Galaxy Gio: since I've upgraded to Gingerbread it got slower...especially coming back from black display.
I'll go and post my questions in the Galaxy Gio section.
Bye!
Thanks for the welcome!
I posted a question a few days ago here: http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-gio/423829-short-questions-about-firmware-android-n00b.html
I am a forum admin myself and I know that usually if nobody replies within a few days, you will never get a reply!
So maybe in the Galaxy Gio section nobody knows the answer to my question...but possibly someone with another phone can help me anyway...since it's not a question specifically related to the Gio.
Basically my question is: what can I do to speed up my Galaxy Gio which has slowed down since I updated to Gingerbread? What is the best firmware for my phone?
It looks like a very generic question but I've looked on the internet for reviews and stuff regarding firmwares and custom ROMs for the Gio but nothing really helpful came up. I therefore think this may be useful for other Galaxy Gio users too.
Thankyou.
I've already tried to reset more than once but then I discovered that I am not the only one who has experienced slower performance after "upgrading" to Gingerbread.
The alternative is to go back to Froyo but I would prefer to have maybe a Gingerbread-based custom ROM which solves to poor performance issue.
So you suggest I open a new thread in Android lounge? Or do you already have something to suggest?
