Yes and maybe...
You can use a custom launcher (like Nova, etc.) that has an app hide feature that will hide the app from showing-up in you app drawer.
There is/was also a "hide" function built into the Package Manager (pm) tool that would disable and hide an app. However, this function depends on the use of adb and that you do not have a current version of Android (Google has recently (since Oct/Nov) been disabling this function from working.

goto settings>apps>all find the app , select it and disable or uninstall the app .
That's not always possible for all apps, especially system apps...
