Help hidden photos

After the last software update in the end of june, i cannot see the hidden photos but the hidden videos is showing when showing hidden items.
When i try to hide another photo a message appears "unable to hide this item" and the photo disappears as if it is deleted.
but i can hide/unhide videos as i wish . But not photos . They don't appear at all
What to do to get my hidden photos back? And how to hide photos again ?

Hmm I have never used the "Hide Photo" feature on the Note 3, and I don't see the option on my device.

Have you tried maybe downloading a companion app that does the same thing?

I will try that app but what about the previous hidden photos .. and how come this problem is in photos only not videos??

I honestly have no idea. I have never used either one of those features.

Sounds like something that maybe Samsung kind of cut out because maybe not enough people found it useful , just a hunch.

I have the same issue!

All my hidden pictures are gone, If you go to gallery and select options, you'll see an eye and it says "Show Hidden Items" when I select the option, it says: Unfortunately, Gallery has stopped

It's killing me!

Then I go again to Gallery, select, Hide items, I pick a random image --> Done, then it says Unable to hide this item but the picture is gone!

Even if Samsung decided to take the feature off bc ppl did not find it useful (which I personally did lol) they wouldn't just take ours away just like that.. =/

So please, please, pretty please, let me know if you've heard of a way of getting the hidden items back!

Hi Unnie, just wondering if you've tried rebooting your phone? Nope you don't mind me asking this but sometimes we forget that these are just computers and every so often they all need a break ha ha.

I use QuickPic to unhide my pics. I forgot i hid an entire folder and could only see it in QuickPic. Selected the folder and hit menu to unhide and then i could see it in Gallery again.
Maybe you can try that with your pics too.
It's free too.

Well I have an issue with the hide it feature also, it won't delete two of my pictures. I tried to unhide them but it won't. that goes for a picture and a video... anyone can help me with that issue?

This all started with Samsung's last update! uuh my pictures are pretty much gone, what I find amusing is.. I keep on hidding some more and they are all gone.. hahah wonder where!
