Help hidden update?

I was updated to stock gingerbread on 12/21/11. Now this morning when I woke up my background image has changed and my slide bar to unlock the phone as well as the top status bar are now a silver/grey color. The used to be black. I checked the software status and nothing has changed. Anybody have a clue as to what's going on? Thanks in advance!

I think you have changed the skin on your phone. Go to your personalize tab ( on the right side of your slide bar to unlock the phone. Then chose skins and it is probably set to the metal design. Just put back on the one you had before. Not sure why it would have changed though but that sounds like the problem.

The sense software probably reset itself due to a small glitch or issue and when it rebooted, it picked a new skin. It doesnt happen alot but once in a blue moon is possible. just keep an eye on it but u should be ok

This was exactly what was wrong. I was messing with my themes and skins and figured it out. I am however still puzzled as to why it changed by itself in the middle of the night while charging?
