Help Hide Facebook/Picasa/ Google+ Pictures in Gallery

So I'm sure most of you know that if you sync up your phone with your social networks then all of the photos will show up in your gallery. Well I wanted to see if there is a way to hide or delete all these photos from the gallery. I can't seem to delete them and I took off the "Sync Photos" with Facebook but all the pictures are still there. I just want my gallery app to have the pictures I have taken with the camera instead of having so much to scroll through. Any help here will be greatly appreciated.

I ended up deleting the FB app and redownloading it to get rid of my FB pics from the gallery. Of course making sure to uncheck the sync FB photos option upon setting up the app. Picasa web photos is a selectable option under your google account under settings as well.

I have a bunch that I want out of my gallery, google+ and some other stuff. So cluttered.

Yep I had the same problem with Dropbox Downloading all my pictures to my device. You need to press the "Menu" Button just by the back button and go to "View By" And it will give you a list of options. Pick what is best for you. If its trying to download "Cloud Data" Go to settings then Cloud and turn off videos & Picture sync.

Thanks, MaTT190191! Why is it somethings that should be so simple get so overlooked. I've tried two or three other things - but missed that simple solution.

Ain't technology grand!?

Make sure your google acct doesnt sync picasa photo's. ..then go to settings > application manager > all apps > gallery > clear data and cache. Doesnt mess with photos on device or card. Deletes the synced album.

just go to your "picasa web" album on your pc and you can delete all those embarrassing photos from your instant gallery album...this is the only way to delete unwanted photos, once you do this all those xxx will dissapear from your phone :)

or just delete your picasa web account.....

never mind, i figure out.. it was my phone .. i went to setting-accounts-google-click my email then unbox sync picasa . then when to clear gallery cache and its gone

Hey all. Im new. Just got my Note 2 for Christmas. Have explored every corner of this amazing device daily.
To remove these things from your gallery follow these steps and please do not fc and corrupt your apps.

Go to Menu, Settings, scroll down to Accounts, tap the account you want to deal with...for instance we want Picasa out of our gallery...since it is a google app Go To Google Account, touch your email address at the top, on the next screen you can UNCHECK google photos AND PICASA at the bottom of the list. Pleas share this as I have seen quite a few articles about this topic

I would suggest the same - uncheck the sync option, then clear the gallery cache

Anyone know if we can take this a step further? I like having my Picasa albums synced as they have all of my family pics in them but what I don't like is the fact every image I posted to Google+ shows up as its own album. I've been on Google+ since it was rolled out causing about 300 Photos from Post albums to show up. Weird they show up in the Samsung Gallery app as they don't on any other device I have...
