Root Hide statusbar?

funkylogik

share the love peeps ;)
On my phone i use Xposed Framework with the Immerse Me module to hide the statusbar (swipe down from top of screen to show it). It also hides nav bar though which isnt a problem on the phone because it has hardware buttons but on my tab i want the nav bar. Anyone know a way to hide statusbar but keep nav?
Cheers

You could try the app you're using or you could just edit some XML files in the, I think, SystemUI.apk but I am not sure. Just thought I would give you some sort of reply since nobody else did ;)

Do you mean hide as in scrolling through browser or home screens because some Roms well 1 I can think of besides cm that you can do it in the second being Mahdi 2.4 (in say this because I'm referring to kit kat)

I mean universally mate so statusbar is always hidden unless i gesture from top of screen to show it.
Cheers Addict. Im tryin to stay on stock rom and just mod things. I think the GravityBox Xposed module might do it but for some reason i cant get it to work on the n7. Ill look into gettin that to work :)

Lol so today i finally gave up and decided to use full immersive mode and PIE for navigation (LMT) which works great.
Next thing my buddy on g+ tells me GravityBox got an update that allows hide statusbar!! Typical :D
Think ill stick to pie though

Ya, I have searched high and low all over Google Play store to find an app that would hide the Status bar on my Ver Note 3 (KitKat) without luck..
So went to using Fully Imerse module in Xposed Framework.

That did exactly what Iv'e been wanting..

What about GravityBox? It hasn't been updated since 2012. Hide task bar?

Im on KitKat leaked Rom.. Waiting for HyperDrive update and will prob. go to that.

The Immerse Me module does exactly what Iv'e been looking for. Couldn't find anything that worked on Note 3 in Google Play store.

Verizon Note 3

I know you have found options, but wouldn't 'expanded desktop' mode done the job? Or would that take away too much?

At the time I wanted to keep nav bar but now I'm so used to using full immersive mode and Slim Pie and Omni Switch for navigating around.
Once you get used to it it's perfect. Hitting back or last app is 2nd nature :)
