Hey, I have some videos that I don't want anyone else to see. I've used "App Lock" to password-protect the video player, but the problem is that the videos is appearing in Gallery. Is there any way to hide the video-maps in Gallery, without having to lock it? I don't want to lock Gallery, beause it gets annoying when I'm taking pictures with camera etc.

You can hide specific pictures/vids. it doesn't lock the actual gallery, but moves the pictures you choose.to the gallery lock app, which you can password protect.
Sounds like some videos I WOULD like to see! Unless they are of you, then forget about it

Dude just remove them on to dropbox.. thats what i do, whenever i want to feed my ego ill just snatch them from there. Be sure to pass protc that sucker though.
There is also an app called vault. It was recommended to me by a friend but i didnt like it because it was eating too much battery.

if you have a file or root browser all you have to do is add a period before the folder name and it will no longer show up...
easiest way to do it is put all your naughty things in a folder and name it ".private"
just use your file/root browser to find the folder when you want to take a look at them..

Uhmm? Because in drop box files do not appear automatically under your gallery and you asked how to hide files?....

create a folder with a . at start example ".porn" that folder will be hidden from gallery and most other apps. to view just browse with my files app. make sure you have hidden folders enabled
I only want to stop the folders from appearing in the photo gallery. I don't want the files to be hid from the video player, only in the photo gallery. I don't like to use third-party apps just for such a little thing. I also think that that third-party apps are slow and ugly, and I like the native player very well.
And no, I don't want Dropbox, because that requires internet connection. I want my stuff available everywhere.

They will still play in the stock video player...you will just need a few more clicks to access them...
Sorry bro there is no way to hide them from the gallery like you want
