CyanogenMOD has that feature built in.
Do you have root? If not I don't think its possible. This is just another reason you should root

Another option is to remove your notification bar using launcher pro.

Both are good options. Thanks guys! I want to root, but i'm afraid that i'll mess it up. How long does it take? And if I have insurance on it ($8 a month) that won't void it correct? I like launcher pro, but I love the look and feel of the stock sense better.
