High Android OS

My Android OS usage seems to be quite high at the moment. Not sure if it was this high on 4.3, but 4.4 seems to have considerably higher usage for me. CPU total has been 5m but keep awake has been 1h from 3h usage.

I've just tried turning all location tracking off. I've been using bluetooth in my car also, but the same as when on 4.3.

Does anyone else have this issue or know of a solution?

How are you getting CPU usage?

Looking at my battery usage (don't know if that's a reasonable surrogate), Android is at 7%.

It might be a runaway app that's being misreported. You could check what else is running in Setting .. Apps .. Running. Try disabling apps one at a time to try to work out if one of them is the cause.

I used to turn off all the location stuff until I discovered that leaving it on made no discernable difference to my battery usage.

CPU total comes when pressing 'Android OS' from the battery page.

Maybe it is a rogue app, I'll see if I can identify
