High Battery Temperature

So I'm charging my stock 4.02 verizon galaxy nexus while simultaneously playing music when I notice the screen is extremely hot, like over 114 degrees hot. At what point will a high temperature damage my phone? Or burn flesh?

Your phone will be fine Ive had my phone get so hot that it stopped charging until it cooled down, but there no was no damage to the phone.
