high battery usage since flash

Yesterday i finally flashed my SII with CF-Root, then flashed a 2.3.4 bootloader to use my jig, then put 2.3.5 bootload back on, since then i have noticed my battery draining a lot faster than usual. I noticed that my battery was almost dead when i woke up, according to CPU spy my phone has been using 200MHz for 11hours while Deep Sleep has been unused. Is this normal?

sorry if this is a stupid question.

Sounds to me like something is running that is keeping you from entering deep sleep. Have you checked running processes to see whats running? Any data intensive widgets?

doesn't appear to be anything using much data, all the processes seem normal and nothing out of place, so not sure what is causing it

Download a program called BetterBatteryStats (I think it's on xda not Market). Install it, reboot your phone and leave it on sleep for an hour or so. Then after that open up BetterBatteryStats and you can check the wakelocks that have been active since you booted. If you don't understand the stuff, post a screenshot here and someone can help analyse it.

Perhaps the app updated with more battery-draining background activity? I concur with Kuragari that Kik Messenger is the culprit.
