High Voltage , Rooting , 4.0.3

hi all,

suddenly for no obvious reason i am having the battery paused voltage too high issue...

i used to have my S2 rooted when on GB but went back to unrooted stock for ICS.

Now i want to root again to resolve the charging issue and also try a ROM+Kernel combo for a awsome phone (any combo recommendations?)

I used the CF-Root method for GB, and am sure its basically the same for my ICS?

i found this but am unsure which of the two to use? for my I9100BVLPB

Wait for a better answer but I was sure that stage did'nt matter too much. PLEASE don't go ahead with it on that comment alone. I aint being responsible lol.

Instincts point to proper. But id search that thread incase.

Flash the proper version. Seems the original had issues with CWM.
